Jill Major Anderson
Jill worked as the office manager at the Irvington office of Jim & Pat Carter Real Estate from 1996-2001, developing a working relationship with many people in the industry including agents, lawyers, appraisers, loan officers, inspectors, and advertising personnel. She kept her real estate license on inactive status during this period to maintain an impartial presence at the front desk.
Before coming to Irvington, Jill worked for a title insurance company, researching records at various county court houses and producing title binders and policies.
Jill activated her real estate license in November 2001 in order to help her husband, Bruce, as an agent for Jim & Pat Carter Real Estate, Inc.
She is a graduate of Rappahannock Community College with an Associates Degree in Science. She is a native of Charleston, West Virginia, where her parents owned & operated "Major's Book Store."
Bruce and
Jill have four college-age children: Emily, Thomas, Bert, and
Floyd.
